Showcasing the Finished Products
Last week’s newsletter explored the fabrication process behind several natural stone products from Bedrock Natural Stone, one of our international partners, outside Vancouver, British Columbia. The journey followed stone from massive raw blocks to precision-cut architectural material.
In Part 2 of our series, we shift our focus from the process to finished projects. These carefully-crafted products are widely used across the United States and Canada.
Each material tells its own story through color, texture, durability, and performance, shaped by both geology and careful fabrication.
Take a look below to see some beautiful examples of world-class workmanship.

Black Tusk Basalt: A deep, consistent charcoal-black basalt known for its strength and modern aesthetic. Black Tusk Basalt is a popular choice for contemporary architecture, offering a clean, bold look for everything from exterior cladding to hardscape applications.

Cambrian Black Basalt: Rich in natural variation, Cambrian Basalt brings subtle movement and tonal depth. Its earthy dark greys make it a versatile option for both residential and commercial projects where durability meets natural character.

Hardy Island Granite: One of the most recognizable coastal granites, Hardy Island Granite is valued for its durability and salt-resistant properties. Its light grey tone and subtle grain make it ideal for coastal environments, public spaces, and high-traffic hardscapes.

Valdes Sandstone (Paving and Steps in this Photo): A warm, natural sandstone with soft layering and organic texture. Valdes Sandstone offers a timeless, grounded feel that works beautifully in both traditional and contemporary designs.

Vieira Limestone: A refined, lighter-toned limestone known for its clean finish and subtle fossilization details. Vieira Limestone brings a sense of elegance and calm, making it a strong choice for exterior and interior applications.

Whistler Basalt: A darker, more textured basalt with natural variation and depth. Whistler Basalt is often used in landscape and architectural application where a more rugged, natural aesthetic is desired.
Bringing the Process Full Circle
From quarry extraction to precision fabrication, and finally to these finished materials, each stone represents a balance of natural origin and modern artistry. Together, they form the foundation of projects that prioritize both performance and design.
We’re proud to work alongside partners like Bedrock Natural Stone to bring these materials from the source to our projects, where they ultimately become part of lasting architecture.
